In the morning of Nov. 14, Dr. Stuart Ashenden, Dean of the Engineering College of Greenwich University, and Mr. Bao Chenming, China Representative paid a visit to HIT, and had a talk on course issues of the joint program. Vice President Bai Yu met the guests.

In the 9-year cooperation, the two universities made a lot of progress in students’ cultivation and teachers’ exchange. Altogether HLJIT sent 90 students and teachers to the Greenwich University, which in turn sent many teachers to HLJIT. Teachers from the Greenwich University also take language courses of International Cooperation and Education Center in HLJIT. The two sides achieved agreement in education and teaching, and developed the schedule for the future cooperation. It is expected to revise the syllabus and teaching plan of the joint program under the supervision of the two universities. New policies of teachers’ training and students’ exchange will be developed.
