This specialty cultivates high-quality environmental art personnel who adapt to the development of China's socialist economic construction, master the basic professional theory and related discipline knowledge and professional skills, and have innovative and practical ability, work on environmental design, research or teaching at higher art school, specialize in interior design of public buildings, residential space design, urban landscape and community environmental landscape design, garden design, and be able to work on project planning and management, teaching and scientific research in the field of environmental art application and research. In terms of ability structure, this specialty requires students should possess a sense of innovative thinking in design,  a comprehensive knowledge of analyzing and solving the problems in interior and exterior environmental design project in the field of scientific research, teaching and design ,and the strong ability of space expression.

2. Visual Communication Design
This specialty cultivates fully-exercised, advanced and creative application-oriented talents with international design and cultural vision, Chinese design and cultural feature, also meet the need of  innovative era, integrate traditional graphic (print) media with modern digital media, apply professional design skills to independent graphic design, advertising design, packaging design, etc possess a certain artistic accomplishment and aesthetic ability,  systematic visual communication knowledge, professional theory and design innovation, spoken and written language competence, social communication ability, etc.
After graduation, students can teach, research and manage in the field of professional design, enterprise, institutions, colleges and universities, research institutes in the field of visual communication design.

3. Animation
This specialty cultivates application and creation-oriented talents who work at schools of different levels, cultivates the talents with basic knowledge and skills of animation creation, cultivates the talents who work on animation design, animation production, animation promotion, animation application at the film and television agency, animation application and promotion agency and enterprises.
Students are required to study the history and current situation of animation, understand the basic process of animation creation and transmission, master the basic principles of animation creation and basic skills, then a solid foundation and basic knowledge structure will be better laid.

This specialty cultivates application-oriented talents with“profound foundation, wide caliber, strong ability", coordinated development of“knowledge, ability and quality", with a solid foundation of basic industrial design theory and product modeling ability, good professional skills and quality. These talents are qualified to work on the product innovation, design, management, scientific research or teaching work at enterprises and institutions, professional design department, teaching and scientific research units, or engage in related product design, visual communication design, information design and environmental facility design or display design. In terms of ability structure, this specialty requires that students should have a certain sense of innovative thinking in design, preliminarily possess the ability of integrated use of knowledge, analyze and solve the problems of research, development and design encountered in the process of industrial product modeling design, possess better image performance ability.
